So I've decided to take on a new project... Photography!

Thanks to my mother in law for letting me borrow her AMAZING camera! I am now convinced that the camera makes the photographer! I would eventually like to invest in my own camera, and some photography classes, but until then ill just keep on practicing on my own. If I start to get good, and go out and take a lot of pictures i'll eventually start a new blog for that, but until then I'll just occasionally add some photos to this blog! Let me know what you think! :)

Christmas and a new job!

Life has been so busy over the last few months. I seemed to have gotten in way over my head for Christmas gifts for everyone, but surprisingly, everything has seemed to start to fall into place, so I have kept SUPER busy with all that stuff! It has been a lot of fun, hard work, but lots of fun! I'll add photos after Christmas of the fun stuff i've been doing! Jason has been keeping busy with his job, and is gone alot, but it gives me time to get stuff done, so maybe I'll miss him more after the holidays!! I also started a new job this week... I have been nannying a few days a week, but with hours cutting down, I needed to find something to do the rest of my time, so a rfiend of mine told me about a job that is part time, 4-6 hours a day, and you do it at home from the computer. It's a data entry job, and I am really excited about it! I started this week, and can't wait til training is done and I can start to work from home. Well... gotta get going, I have a quiz today in training... wish me luck! :) Have a great week!

Just a quick update tonight since I am planning a full night! I'm home from work early (well 8 o clock...) And don't have to wake up early tomorrow morning, which means I can stay up late getting stuff done.. working on a new project that I am very excited about, and I wont say anything now, but hopefully I will get some stuff done soon so that I can start posting and showing up what I'm doing! 3 Cutest Babies Ever!!

There is absolutely nothing better for me than when my brother Gray and his family come and visit us from California. I love spending time with my brother and sister in law Summer, but I just adore my two nieces and nephew! So they were here for a week, and we had so much fun! We went to a gymnastic place with the kids for a birthday party and had so much fun. Sienna LOVED this thing that we would push and she would flip upside down! Can you tell she loves it!

And Zimri, (Baby Z) is growing up so fast, its not even funny! She is almost 9 months, which is just crazy! She is so cute too! If she isn't comfortable with someone she doesn't cry, but she doesn't smile either! The first day she was at the house with us, Lauren and I called her a robot baby, because she was just very unemotional. Once she is comfortable with you though she smiles and laughs and is so cute!

Sienna is just getting so big! She is beautiful, so funny, and, yes, getting a little bit sweeter! Every time i left the house she would yell out the front door, "Bye Thai, I love you, you're my best friend forever!" She is too cute!

And Kage... oh that kid... he is hilarious! He is almost three and isn't talking much, but totally knows what he is trying to say... it gets so frusterating with him sitting there trying to sign out what he is trying to say, repeating himself... i can't imagine how frusterated he gets, poor boy! He loves to give kisses and hugs and loves to use his imagination to play!

Anyway, I know i'm a little biased because they are my nieces and nephews, but I truely believe they are the cutest kids in the world! I joke that the real reason I don't have any babies yet is because I dont want to make kids feel bad about not being as cute as their cousins, because there is no way any babies can be cuter than these three!

There isn't a whole lot new going on with me right now, just getting ready for Christmas.. yes... already! I hate the stress of December, I want to be able to enjoy it, so... I'll stress in october! Hope you're all doing well!

Quick Update

Okay, so just a quick little update here, not sure who knows this, but I work as a nanny. I've worked with this family for about 8 months, from the time the youngest was 6 weeks, and he is now almost 10 months. I've been with him through his newborn stage, teething stage (which was just a joy!) and his crawling stage, or should i say army crawling... Anyway, since I don't have my own kids right now I just adore this little boy and have become so attached to him and feel like a second mom to him, so of course I am so excited that he is actually starting to stand on his own now. Hopefully he gives me a little more time before he is walking all over the place, but it has been so fun to see him grow up, So here's a few pictures just so when i look back on my blog later i can remember how much fun I've had with him! Hope you're all doing great!!

Fun Weekend!

Today is Sunday, and I had such a fun weekend! Friday my mom in law and I went to a scrapbook expo and it was amazing! The prices, the selection, just everything was so great! I finally got my silhouette die cut machine and totally love it! It's amazing and does SO much!! We were there all day and just had a lot of fun! Saturday we ran a few errands and went to a dinner thing for something Amy does, and that too was a lot of fun... okay so there isn't much to say about anything, but overall it was a really fun weekend!! Today I'm going to church with my family because it's my baby brothers last primary program! He will be 12 in November. It should be pretty cute! Crazy how fast my younger siblings are getting, and for the first time ever, I understand why people say "wow you're that old?! I must be getting old!" Well this post is pretty boring, but I need to finish getting ready for church so I'll post again either tonight or tomorrow and add some pictures or something! Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great Sunday!

It's been too long!

Well so much for me wanting to update at least once a week this year... :P I guess I can try to start it up now... A lot has happened since January! Jason and I are both doing well, we are living with Jason's mom and little sister, and while I feel we are all so busy that we don't even see each other much, we do have a lot of fun, and love being here with them! Jason is working as a First Officer for Mesaba Airlines and loves it. He doesn't fly as much as he would like, but is doing what he loves. He is gone about 5 days a week which is not MY favorite part, but it is always fun when he is home, and we get along great because of it! I'm working as a Nanny. I have been doing that for a family since January. I totally love it! i watch a baby who is nine months, & when I'm not watching the baby I am home working online. So I'm trying to keep very busy so I don't miss Jason while he is gone. Well it's late now so I'll leave it at a very general update and I'll get on again sometime this week with anything else I can think of, or just let you all know how my week is going! :) Hope everyone had a great holiday long weekend! I know I did!

I got a phone call from my four year niece Sienna last Thursday morning, i get on the phone and she just starts talking so fast i can hardly understand her, i finally get her to slow down, and she then tells me "Mommy had a baby, Thai! And guess what, it's a girl!"

My brother and his wife wanted to be suprised with the sex of their third child, so everyone was making guesses, and everyone was very convinced that it was a boy, we didn't even think about it being a girl, and Sienna was very upset because everyone let her know that it COULD be a girl, but she was probably going to get another brother! So when she saw that it was a girl, she was VERY excited to call me and tell me that everyone was wrong! She didn't get another brother, Mommy gave her a sister!

Zimri Rose was born January 17th, and 5:01 am, weighed 7 lbs 4 ounces and was 21 inches long.

I am in Utah working SO much right now, and my brother lives in california, so for now i can just see her through picture mail until either i can make a trip to california, or wait until they come to Utah at the end of march! but i am just SO excited that she made it here safe and is beautiful and healthy!

2007 Year Review

2007 was by the far the busiest, most crazy, stressful year I've had. On the other hand, I have never had so much fun, or learned and grew so much in one year.

Jason and I rang in the year 2007 in Florida, we had been there about five months, still didnt have very many friends, so we rented movies, got take out, and fell asleep shortly after midnight. January also brought Jasons birthday, which is when we got Season passes to Busche Gardens, sure we only went twice through out the year, but it will still very cheap, very fun and very worth it.

Through out the early months of the year Jason just worked hard in school, progressing very quickly and loving every day of it, while i worked at the restaurant, worked on keeping a clean house, and keeping busy to not miss family back in Utah so much! January I also started serving at the restaurant, which i loved!

April brought my birthday, and also a quick trip back home to visit Utah.

In the beginning of Summer I started getting together with some of the girls at work, and became good friends very quickly. In July Jason and I made it a point to get out a bit, so we headed to the water park a couple times, made it to the beach a bit, and had lots of bar-b-q's and pool parties with friends.

In July I got a new job, and was working 40-45 hours a week, while Jason continued to work hard in school. Jason got to go back to Utah to visit his family for the first time since we had moved out there. While he was away I got laid off from my second job, and also I got into my first car accident. So a few days after he got home we bought a new car! Which btw i STILL love!

July 20th my oldest sister got married, so i made a quick trip to Utah to be the maid of honor in her beautiful wedding. All in all, July was a VERY crazy month!

In August school started slowing down for Jason. He was still ready to keep going, but somehow he had lost priority at the school, so he started looking for other options. He got into another school at the beginning of September to complete his last two ratings, which he did in five days. The last week of September he got offered a job in Las Vegas at a flight instructor. The next day he got another job offer as a flight instrucor at UVSC, a college in Utah Valley. About thirty minutes away from our family. They needed him as soon as he could be there, so 6 days later we were all packed up, said goodbye to the very many good friends we had made in Florida and were on our way back to Utah!

The last few months of the year have kept us both busy spending lots of time with family, and both working. Jason was working over 40 hours a week as a flight instructor, and I worked part time in a cell phone store, and one day a week nannying. Jason wasted no time in trying to get a job on an airline and applied for a few in November, and in December got an interview at Mesaba airlines, and just a few days later got offered the job. December I got to visit my brother in California, i hadn't been there in almost 2 years, so i spend five days hanging out with my brother and very pregnant sister in law, and my neice and nephew.

2007 brought so many wonderful memories, some very hard times, but we made it and came out stronger. 2008 will be an interesting year, while Jason leaves in a couple weeks for 2 months for more flight training, and then I get to see how it really is going to be to be the wife of a pilot, Jason's brother and Dad are both leaving in Febuary for a year for the War. So Jason and I are moving in with my mother in law and sister in law, and hopefully will spend lots of time scrapbooking with Amy. So it will be a challenging year, but hopefully it will be very rewarding, and I will be able to look back on the year and know that I learned a lot and grew a lot as a wife, a companion, and as a person.

I can not even begin to explain how crazy the last few months have been. I don't even know where to start, and don't even know if I should try to catch up on what has happened, or if I should just start over!! It is a new year! Which means new beginnings, so maybe that's what ill do. Just start fresh!

Funny that January 1st is only one day away from December, but in one day I have a whole new feeling of hope, new beginnings, and change. I feel so commited and dedicated to bettering myself. Now let's just hope this feeling lasts.

Reading my mother in laws last blog entry has inspired me to do a summary, or tribute to the year 2007, I am laying in bed updating my blog on my phone tonight, so it will have to wait until tomorrow, but I will do that soon!

Well hope the holiday season was wonderful for everyone! Happy new year!

Life...

Life has been SO crazy for us here in Florida! I have been working 6 days a week, and Jason has been in school. The flight school he has been with for the last year all of a sudden decided to not put him up for any flights because he wasnt a very high priority... Long, confusing, story short... it was taking a long time to finish the last few ratings with the school he was in, so he dropped out of that school and found a school in Orlando that he can finish the last two ratings he has left in five days... so he enrolled in that school and started today! If everything goes well he will be done Monday and be able to interview with the school to become a flight instructor so he can get enough flight hours to get hired onto an airline.

Everything is really confusing, and theres a lot of info with it, but this school definitely has its pro's and cons, but we're seeing more pro's right now. The school has bases all over the coutnry, so once he becomes and instructor it will take about 5-6 months to get all his flight hours... we just don't know where he will be an instructor... there is the school in Orlando that is the obvious easiest choice... but may not be the smartest... there is a base in Las Vegas (it would be a LONG drive) but its closer to family, and... while thats the only real upside, its a big one!

So if we stay here in Florida we will move into a smaller (cheaper) apartment at the beginning of October, and if we move it will be in the beginning of October... So while i'm working 6 days a week... fighting the on going battle of one car, two people's lifes... and still trying to have some downtime, i am now packing up and getting ready to move... i dont know where!! It seriously has been crazy!! Gotta love how life just never let's you stop!

The "American Language"

Anyone ever think about the difference between the English Language, and the "American language"... it's a completely different language!! I was talking to some friends last night, and we were talking about how different words are said, and i completely blame my mom for the way i talk! I totally annunciate my words... when I'm talking about a baby cat, i don't say ki-en, i said ki-tten, i don't say co-un, i say cotton... and so on, gotten, bitten, mitten...

And the worst one! Mou-in... how hard is it to say mounTain! I just don't get it! And like i said, i blame this pet peeve on my mom 100%! i could keep going too.. but the list just goes on and on, for example, wanna, gonna, ta instead of to... ohh that one gets me! For instance, I'm going ta the store... ohh boy! Lol anyway... (which is another one, people say anyways, and for some reason, it bothers me...) but... ANYWAY, i wont keep going on this because it is just getting repetitive.

Last night some friends and I were swimming, and after a while I sat on the edge of the pool with my feet in the water, and when i got inside I realized that some neighborhood mosquito's were having a little feast on my back!! Not only do I have three bites on my left foot, two in my leg, one on each hand, one big one on my arm, and 16... YES 16 mosquito bites on my back!! Needless to say i am just a bit uncomfortable today!!

Headaches...

Headaches STINK!! I have been fighting one that has been on and off for about two weeks... and i can not seem to get rid of it!! Today it seemed to just go downhill though. It went from headache to borderline migrane... which i very rarely get.. but when i do i am just miserable. It isn't there yet, but i am starting to get light and noise sensitive... and its starting to make me feel nauseous! The worst part about it is I can not seem to get anything done! Even relaxing is painful! Okay... well i am done complaining for now! I'm going to try to get some sleep so that i can survive the rest of the week considering i work the rest of the week! AH!

I was looking through my pictures, and realized i don't have any recent pictures with Jason and I... So we were out Saturday night with some friends, the restaurant i work at has karaoke on Saturday nights, not that we go up and sing, but it is very entertaining, and a lot of fun, so we were there with some of my girlfriends from work, and their boyfriends just hanging out and taking pictures, so i had one of my friends take a picture of Jason and I... and somehow we could not get a good picture... i don't know what was going on, but somehow every single one didnt turn out...

His eyes were closed in the first one...

The next one would have been cute if my friend didnt do bunny ears and pull a face in the backround!!

So by the third time we were both starting to get irritated and antsy, so we both pulled a face, which is funny because we didnt plan it, but we both made a face...

So i have to deal with this one even though my head is covering half of his face, because i couldnt get him to try again...

Maybe i'll have better luck next time!! Lol

Bad Habits!

Wow, I am so bad at keeping a blog! Whats funny is last night I was going through some boxes and pulled out a few old diaries from when i was really like... i'm talking like ages 8-13... Anyway, i pulled out about 5 of them and just started reading through them, and they always were the same, the first few pages would be filled up, i would write in it every dayand then after the first few days, the days would get more and more spread out, and before too far into the book it would be blank the rest of the pages... and then i'd get a new one and it would start all over... so i guess old habits die hard! Lol

So this month has been crazy already!! I was happy when July was over, but it hasn't slowed down a bit! It was our anniversary the 3rd of this month, and we had a really good day! We went to the movies, then Jason took me to a suprise dinner, and we went to a Fondue place, which i had never been to, and it was a lot of fun! Other than that I have just been working a ton, and looking for a new job... because i want something with set hours and set pay... The new car is a bit more than the other one, and money is starting to get pretty tight.

Well... i wish I had something exciting to write about, but i will do better about posting more regularly! Anyway... i'll throw some pictures in there to make it a little more interesting! Lol hope you all are ahving a good week!

The Car and Wedding

Ah... it has been quite the week for me! After wrecking the car while DH was out of town, I didn't get to do a whole lot, and then as soon as he came back it seems that life has just been non-stop! He got back last Sunday and Monday we went to see the car and hear that it wasn't totalled... but would be in the shop for 4-6 weeks, so we rented a car for three days and it cost us almost 100 dollars! So it didn't take us too long to decide we couldnt do that for 6 weeks, so we sold the Nissan Sentra to a car dealership, they are waiting until the insurance is done before they pick it up, but its signed over to them and everything. And we actually got more than we thought we would for it, and so then while I was at work Jason picked out a car and kinda had his mind made up on it that he would buy it. So... now we have a 2007 Scion TC. A little more than i wanted to pay for a car, but we did get a good deal on it, and it is beautiful!!

So then Thursday I flew home for my sisters wedding, and I won't even get into how crazy the whole flight situation was... all i need to say is i have HORRIBLE luck with flying and airports! Lol but the wedding was beautiful, and I will add just a few pictures, and maybe add some more later! But it was so good to get home for a few days! And while the trips never seem to last long enough, i was very glad to come back home to Jason! Well... i have been sitting here for five minutes trying to think if there is anything else i have to write about, and my mind is drawing a blank, and i am looking around me at all the stuff i have to unpack from my trip, and i can't get myself to sit here any longer right now! So here are just a few pictures from the wedding, just some that i took iwth my camera of me and my family. Hope you all had a good weekend!

So Jason and I went to see the car today, and he kept saying how hes going to see it and its not going to be that bad, he says theres no way it looks as bad as it does in his head and i made it sound worse than it really is. And when i saw it after the accident, i was still so shaken up, so i'm thinking the same exact thing he is! That it isnt that bad... then we get there... Oh my gosh... it is worse than i thought!! I knew the damage was only to the front of the car, but i didn't realize it was this bad...

Also, you cant tell from the pictures, but if you are standing behind the car, you can see the whole front of the car has shifted to the right from the impact... and the front door hardly opens... so now we are just waiting.. and keeping our fingers crossed that it's totalled!!

Anyway... on a happier note... here are some pictures of Jason and I on Fourth of July!

Friday The Thirteenth...

What a weekend I have had!! Isn't it so funny that bad things never happen one at a time!?! Jason went out of town on Thursday, and was actually excited! Lol i dont know what it is with men and not wanting to show excitement, but he never does! So it was a lot of fun to see how excited he was!! I was just not looking forward to my busy busy weekend! I was working 13 hour days tuesday through Friday, and then working Saturday night, and had to get new tires Saturday afternoon because i got a flat earlier in the week. But at the same time it was a good time for Jason to leave town, because i wasn't going to be home anyway!

So Friday i go into work, and they tell me that they have to lay me off because they have too many employees and weren't making enough money... so that already kinda puts us in a bit of a money bind! So i left work at about 10:30, had to run to the bank to deposit a check and make sure we had enough in the account to get new tires, and leaving the bank i got in a car accident... it wasnt too bad, just hit front ends with another car, no one was hit. Only thing is when my car spun i hit my head on the window kinda hard, but mostly i was just so shaken up! The other car was able to just drive away... for sure they need body work done on their car, not sure if they need anything else. My car was pretty bad though... the front left wheel was turned completely sideways, the drivers side door doesnt open, and then whole front corner is just really smashed up. So I had a friend pick me up from the accident scene, and i stayed with her for the weekend while Jason was gone.

It just has been one crazy weekend... I'm still so shaken up about everything... and i feel so bad.. and have been playing what if's all weekend... what if this didnt happen, what if i did this... what if is seriously the worlds worst question...

So now we are just waiting for the insurance company to look at the car and tell us whats going on with it. What they need to fix, and how long its going to take. Ill keep posting whats going on.. and keep checkin in, i should have pictures if not today, than within the next few days!

Super Bored

So I am just sitting here at work, i'm usually at my own desk with no computer or internet, but the receptionist had to take the day off today, so I am filling in for her today which means I just answer the phones and play online! So i figured i'm super busy this week with work, this is the perfect time for me to post here again!

I am starting to get confused as to why i started a blog though, especially since i have my new job, i wont have anything to talk about, because all i ever do now is work!

Actually, i do have a really funny/sweet story! So Saturday i had to work at the restaurant, but i needed to get my checks into the bank, so I asked Jason if he would take me to work so he could take the car to go to the bank, i also mentioned that i needed to go to the store to get shampoo and conditioner and mascara. Now i wasn't saying that because i wanted him to go get those things for me, i knew he wouldnt get the right kind, i just said it so he knew it was something that i needed to do.

So when i get home from work i told him that i needed to go to Walmart and he told me he already went for me! It was so sweet of him! So then he brings me the mascara he got me and he said this is the kind you like, right? and it was! it was the exact brand and kind that i love getting! And then i see what Shampoo and Conditioner he got me, and it was the exact kind that i wanted! It was the sweetest thing to me that he remembered! So i go to take a shower and reach over for the shmapoo, but grabbed the conditioner... reached over for the other bottle... conditioner! Lol i was cracking up! So i had to make another walmart run that day, but it was still the sweetest thing he went and picked stuff up for me and knew what kind to get me!

Anyway... its time to go home and change for my other job, oh yay! lol hope you all are having a great day!

Oh man...

I guess i have put off updating this thing for too long now... I never have been this busy in my life, and when I do get free time I never what i want to do with it now! I have been at my new job for two weeks now.. and like ive said before, i work there from 10-4 Monday through Friday, and then i switched to night shifts at the restaurant thinking that i would have less shifts than before, but instead i am getting scheduled 5 nights a week! So before when I only worked four or five shifts a week, and thats all i did, i had so much free time i was always bored! Now i'm working from 10 in the morning to sometimes 10 at night!! I am not sure how long i can do this before i completely wear myself out!

Anyway... on to a happier note... Because of Jason's flight hookups, i am traveling to Utah on a direct flight (which i never have done before!) first class on Delta for only 178.00!!! We checked on that exact flight at normal price and it was over 1,700 dollars! Now THAT is a killer deal! So i guess there are benifits to having a husband always gone! Lol

Well... i'm off to eat dinner and watch a little bit of TV with Jason before i head off to bed early tonight! I'll do better next time!! It wont take me two weeks to re-post.... sheesh... how fast time flies by...

So i know, i can not be the only one with about ten thousand different ways to get rid of some creative energy... I love to scrapbook.. but sometimes i get so stumped on what i want to do, and what ideas to use, and where to start... oh thats my biggest problem, is just getting a layout started... So i feel like it takes me weeks to get going on a new one when i finish one... so.. what are other things that I do to keep myself busy in between layouts...

One thing I used to do a lot, but haven't for a while, and am trying to get back into is drawing. I'm not very good, and I know there is a lot of room for practice and improvement, but thats what i have been doing this week, and I have had a lot of fun! It's definitely something that i want to keep working on... I wonder what other things that i used to do, i might still enjoy... this might be a fun week! :-)

I was starting to feel like the only person that didn't have a blog... so i cracked under peer-pressure, and here i am!!... Blogging when I need to be at work in less than a half hour! And I only know that as soon as I get to work my mind is going o be wandering... thinking about all the cool things i can do on my blog!

I already have so many ideas about how I want the back round and colors and everything! ...I'm such a nerd! I love doing new things on the computer though! I have been looking at every ones blogs all morning for ideas! (too bad i don't get this excited about scrapbooking all the time!!)
